According to recent reports, Hero MotoCorp looks all set to unveil the 2016 Hero Super Splendor iSmart (i3S) at the upcoming Auto Expo 2016 followed by a possible launch in March 2016. We can expect a price tag of just around the Rs. 57,000- Rs 59,000.
Design wise, the Super Splendor will have similar panels just like on the Splendor iSmart. New fuel tank, side panels, tail-piece, split grab rails and much more. Detailing will include Hero badge on the handlebar and the bike will get new three-pod instrument cluster which showcases the i3 badge and other information through it.
Expected to be powered by 124.7 cc air cooled, four-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, Super Splendor iSmart 125 of Honda is likely to dish out 9bhp of power @ 7,000rpm and 10.35Nm of torque @ 4,000rpm and deliver a fuel efficiency of nearly 90kmpl. A four-speed transmission will be paired to the engine. Suspension set up will include telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers in front and swing arm with 5 step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear.
